Pet Sitters

Katja G.
(Albury/Wodonga)

I’m a mother to 4 fur-babies (of the feline kind) and they are spoilt and thriving.

I have had a variety of cats, with equally varying temperaments, for most of my life and am not worried by spicy or feisty animals. Even though I personally never had a dog, or other pets besides cats, chickens, chameleons, quail and canaries, I am very happy and comfortable to look after all sizes and temperaments. Also happy to look after any other kind of creatures with husbandry research to be done where necessary.

am a qualified vet nurse, after completing my Cert II in animal studies and Cert IV veterinary nursing, which helps with my understanding of how to care for your little darlings even better.

I am able and happy to administer medications orally or by injection, however the animal’s temperament will be a deciding factor on how medicating will be handled.

I specialise in pet visits and walking however also cater for pet sitting, calendar allowing.

I have had multiple police checks which are usually updated in January; certificate can be provided upon request

Due to the lovely nature surroundings in the area adding substantially to the ‘as the crow flies’ distance, travel charges apply for anyone more than 10km from East Albury. Rates can be discussed prior to booking.

I adore animals big and small and after accepting a chance to walk someone’s dog, I realised I truly enjoy looking after people’s pets and helping their animal be happy. I’d love the opportunity to take are of your precious animals, whether that’s making sure they’re fed while you’re on holiday or taking them for a walk during a hectic work week.

I love going above and beyond, really enjoying spending time just unwinding with dogs after an exhausting walk, playing a quick round of fetch too if they have some energy left. I want to make sure the pup is happy and content before I have to leave 🙂

I personally live in a house with 4 cats who I love more than anything. They can be a bit of a handful, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. They’re long haired, cheeky little guys who love waking the house up at 6am. I understand that sometimes they just need space and don’t want to be touched, so if your kitty is a bit of a feisty one, that’s really not an issue for me, I’ll look after them whether or not they’re friendly haha.

I have some experience administering medication and am comfortable doing so with cats that are relatively calm. I also have a frog and gecko of my own and know what goes into maintaining a good environment for them, as well as not being squeamish with insects. I’m not scared to feed someone’s snake either if need be.

I specialise in pet-sits, and as I do not drive locations near public transport are preferred.
